Reclaimed, Not Harvested
Every shell we use is reclaimed — never harvested to order. Our oyster shells come from Max Oyster Bar, where they'd otherwise be discarded. We believe the ocean has already given us something beautiful; our job is simply to give it a second life.
Our Process
Each shell is collected from Max Oyster Bar, then thoroughly cleaned and prepped by hand. We attach the prepared shell to the wine stopper hardware and seal it with a UV high-gloss resin, giving every piece a durable, glass-like finish while protecting its natural detail. Because no two shells are alike, no two finished pieces are ever exactly identical — the natural variation in shape, color, and texture is part of the character of every item, not a flaw.
Sustainability
- Recycled and upcycled oyster shells, kept out of the waste stream
- Recyclable packaging
- Handmade stickers and labels, chosen to help cut down on emissions from mass-produced packaging materials
